Vase phase: Part 4: The one that collapsed and came back.
This particular vase folded in upon itself. I worked it at a weird angle, and it just collapsed. But the clay is plastic, and I was able to pull it back up and recenter it. Quote an achievement, and not even a waste of time, because it was back up within a minute or two. A shorter time then I would spend wedging more clay.
The top wasn’t as narrow when I brought it back up, and this is probably to be expected, but I’m fairly satisfied with the overall thickness of the walls, from top to bottom. People will probably like the last two pots I showed better than this one, but as a maker, I find this one way cooler.
